Wildrose is a very beautiful hündin with substance, great passion, and tremendous prey drive. Wildrose has a wonderful personality and is a great testing and hunting dog. She has proven to be very passionate and dependable in the field, water, and on the blood track. We look forward to many years of companionship and hunting with her.

At the 2023 NAKP Wildrose was led by Marianne O’Leary, a first-time handler. Wildrose received a Prize 1/136 ps. (perfect score). Additionally, she was rated as the V1 Female by a panel of four SZR judges (three from Germany and one from North America (all four are regular SZRs at the Kleemann).

At the Walla Walla Fall Zuchtschau in 2022, SZR Jeff Martin evaluated Wildrose. Jeff stated, “Wildrose is an overall high-quality female, with excellent dark pigment and very dark eyes, an eligent female, with an excellent female head, excellent placement and angulations back and front, excellent reach and drive, and calm temperment. Wildrose was rated as the V1 Adult Female.

Thorsten Bäte, Wildrose’s German Leader stated, “Wildrose is a very good trainable dog. Her cooperation, use of nose, great pointing desire, coupled with her tremendous passion, makes her a hunting companion to rely on. In addition to her beauty her kindness with people and other dogs is noticeable immediately. She gets along with everyone, dogs, and people alike.

Maggie had remarkable success in her education in Germany with Mr. Siegfried Hofstetter and Mr. Holger Hensel as her leaders. She completed the Derby, Solms, and VGP with Mr. Hofstetter before the age two years old. Maggie was successful at the 2018 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung with Mr. Holger Hensel receiving perfect scores and a 4h for the search behind the duck. In conformation classes Maggie was the V1 hündin at DK Klub Südbaden and DK Klub Westfalen. At the 2018 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung, Maggie was the V1 Female out of seventy female participating. Mr. Hofstetter, considered to be the best leader in Germany, has stated that Maggie is a very special hündin with tremendous drive and great potential.

Etzel impresses in the field a spacious, fine-nosed and brisk search with very good nose guidance and head posture. He quickly finds game, which he points impressively, firmly and staunchly. His manners at the game are impeccable. In the water he convinces with passion, hardness and endurance. At the 2014 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung Etzel received perfect scores in field, search, and nose, with 4h in both the water search without the duck and with the duck (one of only four dogs to accomplish two 4h scores in the water work).

According to the Zuchtschau evaluation by the chief officer of the DKV, Etzel is a highly elegant brown male, with a friendly nature, matching male head, well placed ears, with very good stature, very elegant movement, perfect top and bottom line, movement the fore and hindquarters, and very well set and carried tail.

Etzel pedigree brings together two of the leading bloodlines in the Deutsch-Kurzhaar. The top side features Heiko KS vom Osterberg and on the bottom side Mona vom Thüringer Zipfel comes from the Hege-Haus lines.
